Las Vegas Pro Soccer has chosen Business Continuity Technologies to provide for Technology Managed Services and technology oversight.
Founded by Las Vegas resident Brett Lashbrook and his family, Las Vegas Soccer LLC was formed with the goal of bringing pro soccer to Southern Nevada. Lashbrook’s ties to professional soccer in this country run deep having served numerous roles within the businesoperations of the sport across numerous markets. This includes serving as Chief Operating Officer for former United Soccer League & current Major League Soccer club Orlando Cityas well as Special Assistant to the Commissioner’s Office & Legal Counsel at Major League Soccer’s headquarters in New York City. Lashbrook has further served as a consultant on multiple soccer projects across North America & Europe involving ownership transactions, new stadium developments and professional sports expansion club launches.
Las Vegas is the second-largest metro area in the U.S. & Canada without a professional soccer team. (Detroit is the only larger city without a pro soccer team either.) And we have a rich history of supporting soccer events, including a nearly sold out Sam Boyd Stadium earlier this year for the Mexican National Team versus Iceland mid-week match. Soccer has grown at an amazing clip in recent decades and markets across the U.S. (both those larger and smaller than Las Vegas) have repeatedly demonstrated strong support for their local pro soccer teams. We believe Las Vegas is well overdue for having a team to call our own.
Cashman Field is located in downtown Las Vegas and will feature over 10,000-seats for soccer. The stadium will be shared with professional baseball and professional soccer for at least the 2018 season after which the Las Vegas 51s baseball team plans to move to Summerlin. At which point the owners of USL Las Vegas are committed to converting Cashman Field into a “soccer-specific” stadium featuring additional seating capacity and fan amenities.
“We are proud to be a part of the newest entry in the growing arena of professional sports in the Las Vegas arena”, said Earle Keizer President and COO of Business Continuity Technologies. “As we plan the technology infrastructure and provide for professional technology services, our goal is to work closely with the team to provide world class service so the Las Vegas management can focus on creating a winning team,” says Earle Keizer.
” With over 33 years of a local presence in Las Vegas, BCT is well positioned to take an active role in the diversification of the Vegas marketplace as the city expands to be the entertainment capital of the world.” Says Lester Keizer CEO of Business Continuity Technologies. The Keizer Brothers are honored about this opportunity to create a world class technology infrastructure for the Pro Soccer team in the world’s most exciting city.
